Koizumi, Former Japan Premier, to Quit Parliament After Aso Win (Bloomberg)

Sept. 26 (Bloomberg) -- Junichiro Koizumi , an Elvis Presley fan who became one of Japan's most popular prime ministers after vowing to save the ruling party by destroying it, will retire from parliament when his term ends.
