Long live the King (The Myrtle Beach Sun News)
Come Thursday, Elvis Presley would have turned 74. Dick's Last Resort in North Myrtle Beach still keeps the King of Rock 'n' Roll alive with its Elvis Birthday Celebration every Jan. 8. The winner of its "Sing Like the King" karaoke will take home a $300 prize, and anyone who enters the jelly-doughnut-eating contest won't go home with an empty stomach.
