The stuff the King was made of (Chicago Sun-Times)

Dave Hoekstra: A couple of weeks ago, my Memphis pal Kevin Kern showed up at the Sun-Times with a 10-pound, white-beaded cape from the King of Spades jumpsuit worn by Elvis Presley during his 1974 tour and a Maltese cross necklace with more than 221 quarter-cut diamonds donned onstage by Presley. The pieces are part of three new Elvis-related exhibits.
